Radio ELVI is a local radio station
and it´s on the air from the media camp.
Radio ELVI has been on the air during some
weeks on May/June 1995 and 1996.
The station has been located in Iijärvi,
Paltamo.
On 1995 we had 20 watts transmitter and on 1996 there was 150 watts
to horizontal dipole.
The age of the reporters, anchors etc. is usually between 8 to 15 years. Sometimes you can hear also the voices of teachers or older people who are also working on the camp. Usually there are about 80 children who are making videos, multi media, newspapers, photographies, radio programmes on the camp.
Radio ELVI has been on the air also from the media camps of Paltamo High School.
Radio ELVI was again on the air between 2-6.6.1997, 31.5.-6.6.1998 , 1999-2001
but now the location
was Kuusiranta Media Camp Center, Vuolijoki. 
In the year 2001 we got also 1 kW transmitter from Vuokatti. It was a great success.
Radio Elvi will come on the air again on 11.-16.6.2005. You can listen us on 90.0 MHz .
